2/22/2009 – What is the complete list of parts I need to use a brass ball valve and kettle t screen on a converted sanke keg?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: See the associated product list below. It also requires drilling a 1.062" hole for proper installation, some teflon tape between the nipple joints, and sockets for tightening the joints.

9/4/2007 – i am looking into getting a brew kettle with the spigot installed. also i'm looking at getting the false bottom as well. Do i need the thru wall fitting that it shows with the false bottom or does the false bottom connect with the spigot? looking forward to brewing, thanks!
Response From Homebrew Heaven: You will need the thru wall fitting with both. The false bottom screws into it from the inside, and so does the ball valve (spigot), from the outside (with a threaded nipple in between).
3/9/2007 – Can you screw in the Kettle Screen and a ball valve into the bulkhead fittings?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: The Kettle Screen screws right in to the inside of the bulkhead fitting. The ball valve has female threads, so it requires a Stainless Threaded Nipple 1/2" betweed the fitting and the ball valve. Here is a link to those products:
2/22/2007 – Do you install this item? What other parts will I need?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Yes, we do, into the pots that we sell. All you need is a thru wall fitting (either brass or stainless steel, we have both) and a threaded nipple (we also have that). Just make a note in the Customer Comments section at checkout and we will make it happen. No extra charge for the installation.
11/5/2006 – I live in Seattle, can I come and pick up the bottles in Everett? Do you have a "brick and mortar" store?

7/25/2006 – I have purchased the deluxe kit and an 8 gal brewpot. Must say i love it all. Now i want to move on to an all grain brew and i want to get the spigot and brewmometer and just wanted to know what i needed to do to install it all along with the hole diameter
Response From Homebrew Heaven: It's not too hard to install either one, but I should tell you that if you want to move to all-grain brewing, you are (probably) going to want an additional pot anyway. Of course, we can install those items for you. One is used to hold the grains and water, and the other is used to collect the runoff for boiling. There are other ways to do it, like using a Gott cooler for the grains and water, but it's still handy to have at least 2 pots (one for heating the water, and one for collecting the runoff). To install a Spigot and Brewmometer, you will need a Bulkhead Fitting for each one. We have them in both brass and stainless steel. You will need to drill a 1.06" diameter hole, install the fittings, and tighten them down. Add a Threaded Nipple for the spigot, and you've got it. The Brewmometer will screw right in to the Bulkhead Fitting.
2/3/2005 – If I order the ball valve does it come installed, or do I need to add the 1/2" NPT fitting as well?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: No, it doesn't come with the fitting. If you want it installed, you'll need to order a fitting. You also need the stainless nipple that connects the two.
2/1/2005 – Where can I buy the hops to brew the beer? I live in Plainview, Texas....would love to brew my own. But, I need the ingredients to brew it. will buy your equipment, so....where can I buy the goodies to brew it?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Right here! We have a large selection of hops, yeasts, grains and everything you need in the way of ingredients. Here is a link:A good way to get started is to choose one of our ingredient (recipe) kits. They get you started the right way!
12/9/2004 – Do you just drill a hole and screw in the thru wall fitting, and does the ball valve just screw right on to it.
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Yes, we drill a 1 1/16" hole, deburr it and screw in the Thru Wall Fitting. The fitting has 1/2" NPT (female) threads in it, so it is necessary to connect your ball valve using a stainless steel 1/2" NPT Threaded Nipple. It's a good idea to use some Teflon thread tape on both ends of the threaded nipple.
