7/18/2015 – Hello, I have some old wine decanters that I need to find some sort of lid or cap for, so I can use them at my wedding....They are from "Giumarra Vineyards" and the outer dimension of the neck is about 2-3/8 inches.....can you help me?Thanks! Sandra
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Perhaps it looks like this one?https://www.etsy.com/listing/235031662/vintage-giumarra-vinyards-wine-decanterIf so, it isn't a screw cap. It might be better to use a (solid)rubber stopper on the INside. There is a chart associated with the rubber stoppers for accurate dimensions. If we don't have a solid stopper to fit, a "stopper-stopper" can be used to plug the hole. See associated products.
1/6/2014 – Can you tell me what sort of rubber these stoppers are made of or provide me with manufaturer info so I can research?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: They are made of food grade gum rubber.
5/17/2010 – what is your phone number?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: We can be reached at (425) 355-8865Our toll free order number is (800) 850-2739
8/29/2009 – Do you have a #10.5 rubber stopper without a hole? Or a #11? I'm looking for a bung to put on my barrel for cleaning, and I can't seem to get a "solid" option for those two stoppers.
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Not usually. It's not a common size. We DO have another product that may work for you tho, it's a stopper plug that fills the drilled hole. Here is a link to that product:
1/26/2008 – I live about an hour (if traffic is good) from the address on your website. Do you have an actual store or is everything here based solely online?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Yes, we have an actual brick-and-mortar store in Everett, WA. People actually walk in and buy stuff! Our address is:Homebrew Heaven9121 Evergreen WayEverett, WA 98204Heck, you can actually call us on the phone, too! It's 425-355-8865. A person will actually answer as long as it's business hours!
3/15/2005 – I would like to filter hops, fruit etc. while I siphon into my fermenter. Would any of your screens work well when attached to a siphon hose? Do you have any other suggestions outside of a tapped kettle connected to a bazooka screen?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: The real problem will be getting the stuff thru your siphon hose. If you are willing to pour the wort:In our Brewing Accessories category we have a variety of straining bags that might well serve this purpose. There are also funnels with straining screens that can be used.
