Am relatively new to brewing and knew I needed this product. So glad I invested into it because it works perfectly!!!
only way to go

The auto siphon works just like they said it would, I can't believe that I even fooled with that joke of a siphon that I had. The auto siphon is the only way to go.

1/26/2008 – I live about an hour (if traffic is good) from the address on your website. Do you have an actual store or is everything here based solely online?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Yes, we have an actual brick-and-mortar store in Everett, WA. People actually walk in and buy stuff! Our address is:Homebrew Heaven9121 Evergreen WayEverett, WA 98204Heck, you can actually call us on the phone, too! It's 425-355-8865. 8/19/2005 – I recently bought a "party bottle" (12 liter)of wine. What is the best instrument to use to siphon the wine from this large bottle to wine glasses and/or a decanter? The bottle weighs about 50 pounds, so I'm not even considering trying to attempt to pour the wine from the big bottle! Will a wine theif work?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: A wine thief doesn't siphon, it just "grabs" what fills the tube. As you get lower in the bottle, it won't grab as much. To siphon it into a decanter an auto siphon would be handy. Just insert, push down on the plunger.Don't forget to call Ralph when you are ready to drink that wine!
3/15/2005 – I would like to filter hops, fruit etc. while I siphon into my fermenter. Would any of your screens work well when attached to a siphon hose? Do you have any other suggestions outside of a tapped kettle connected to a bazooka screen?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: The real problem will be getting the stuff thru your siphon hose. If you are willing to pour the wort:In our Brewing Accessories category we have a variety of straining bags that might well serve this purpose. There are also funnels with straining screens that can be used.
1/24/2005 – I am planning on purchasing this kit, but would also like to buy an Auto-Siphon. Can you let me know the diameter of the included hose?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: The Kit includes 5/16" ID hose. The Auto-Sipon works well with it.
