ORDERING POLICY

In case we are unable to reach you via phone, voicemail, and/or email and we have not received a response from you within 2 business days after attempting contact, we reserve the right to process your order with reasonable substitutions, (i.e.; pellet vs. leaf hops) unless you have specifically advised us not to, when you originally placed your order. Please note that SOME orders may be subject to cancellation if we have not received a response from you within 3 business days. 5 days for PayPal orders.

Homebrew Heaven uses a safe and secure ordering system over the Internet. If you are uncomfortable with providing your credit card information over the web, you can always print the contents of your shopping cart by highlighting ALL items in the cart (including order total) and either fax, or snail mail your order in to us. Be sure to include your personal check or money order. Please note that orders received with personal checks are subject to additional delay until the check clears and funds are available to Homebrew Heaven.

SHIPPING POLICY

Homebrew Heaven strives to ship all orders within 2 to 3 Business days from receipt. If we happen to be out of an item, we will make every effort to contact you regarding reasonable substitutions, backorders, etc. Again, we want HAPPY customers. SEE ORDERING POLICY.

You will automatically receive a confirmation of your order, and you can print out a copy for your records.

SHIPPING POLICY: Homebrew Heaven strives to send your package in the best, and most economical way possible. Within the U.S., this is normally by FEDEX or U.S. (Priority) Mail. You may now select the service that is right for YOU. We do NOT send packages COD, or invoice for shipments.

Orders to APO's/FPO's and PO Boxes MUST use U.S. Priority Mail. Due to security issues, package tracking is not available to these addresses. FEDEX and UPS do not deliver to these addresses, anyway. Any lost packages or damaged products via U.S. Mail to APO's/FPO's cannot be replaced.

OUTSIDE the U.S.: Normally, we use Fedex International Economy service. We have found that low cost surface mail is often unreliable. If you request these services, we will adjust the shipping and rates accordingly, but will NOT be responsible for non-delivery. We cannot guarantee delivery of any orders outside of the U.S. in any case.

LARGE and Heavy Items:
Some items, such as Fruit Presses and Grape Crusher/Destemmers MUST be sent by commercial truck, and can be expensive. We will be happy to provide an estimate on those items if you like. The shipping estimate on the website may have to be adjusted on these items. Shipments of these items are to U.S. addresses only.

HOLIDAY GIFTS: Our website allows you to specify a different "ship to" address, so that we can ship your gifts directly to the recipient. If you want us to send a copy of the invoice to you, instead of putting it into the box, just let us know in the "comment" section at checkout.

All shipping rates are subject to change at any time. We may be required to make adjustments for unusually bulky or heavy items, and orders that require more than one box. We make every effort to be fair about this, but sometimes it may be necessary.

5/28/2009 -- Do you recommend a glass or solid lid for the brewpots? I'm fairly new to homebrewing, and need to purchase a pot, trying to decide between 20qt and 30qt (borrowed a turkey fryer pot for my first batch, don't want to scrub peanut oil off the pot any more). My usual batch size is 5 gallons for now, so I was thinking 30qt would allow ample room to boil. Also, is a spigot necessary, or simply recommended? . . .

1/26/2008 -- I live about an hour (if traffic is good) from the address on your website. Do you have an actual store or is everything here based solely online?

8/20/2006 -- I am looking at getting into all grain brewing and want to start with a stainless steel mash/lauter tun. I currently brew 5 gallon batches, but may want to increase to 10 gallon batches. If I purchase your 15 gallon brewpot with a brewmometer and spigot would this work for both 5 and 10 gallon batches?

3/6/2005 -- Just recently purchased a kit and want to begin but I am looking for a pot for boiling. Many local stores sell aluminum 7 gallon pots but all you sell is stainless. is there a reason for this or is going with an aluminum pot ok as it is much less expensive.

10/8/2004 -- I am a novice and have only brewed 3 5 gal. batches. My instructions say to boil 2 to 2.5 gallons of wort. Am I correct in reading that you suggest to boil the entire 5 gallons?

5/7/2004 -- I read elsewhere online that the wort can be brewed in a smaller pot, i.e. 5-quart, and then mixed with cool water in the fermenter to lower the temperature. Does this work, and if so, are there any undesireable side-effects?
