1/2/2006 -- I have a several batches basically ready to bottle at anytime. Searching your web site I found the Oak Essence. Is it too late to add this now? If not, how much is a good starting point? Can I add this just prior to bottling? Thanks for your help!

Response From Homebrew Heaven: Yes, it is normally added immediately before bottling. It is used at the rate of about 0.5 to 1 mL per liter of wine.

It is a 60mL bottle of essence, so you'll have to do the math. Not sure how much you are making.
