Ask a Question
8/3/2008 -- I brought a Wine making kit from you & was wondering where I can find Labels to put on my wine bottles? Do you carry any? Please let me know, Thanks!
Sincerly Yours; Margie
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Sure do. They are in our Bottle Labeling Supplies category. Software, too, for making your own. Here is a link to that category:

1/26/2008 -- I live about an hour (if traffic is good) from the address on your website. Do you have an actual store or is everything here based solely online?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Yes, we have an actual brick-and-mortar store in Everett, WA. People actually walk in and buy stuff!
Our address is:
Homebrew Heaven
9109 Evergreen Way
Everett, WA 98204
Here is a video of our shop:

Heck, you can actually call us on the phone, too! It's 425-355-8865. A person will actually answer as long as it's business hours!
12/17/2007 -- I want to add some of my photographic art to my wine labels. How well will my pictures turn out, or is this photo quality paper.
Response From Homebrew Heaven: It is not photo quality paper. I would call it standard looking paper. It works well for labels, however. The quality of the photos depends more on the quality of the original photo and printer used.
Some people apply a spray-on gloss lacquer after printing to enhance "the look".
11/29/2007 -- I purchased the Classic Studio software for making labels. Is this label sheet selection the one I would use on labels of my own design, including background?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Yes, this product will work well if you are designing your own labels using your own background. The label paper can be cut to any size after you have printed the labels.
The other labels we sell are pre-formated and printed with different designs.Usually people simply add text to these.
7/24/2007 -- How well do the sheets of blank label paper go through laser printers? Does the glue "gum" up the rollers?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Have never had a problem with it!
11/11/2004 -- If i were to give pre labeled bottles to a homebrewing brother for christmas would they get ruined in the process of making it? Another concern is, will he have a house full of guests with inkjet ink all over their palms? that could be disasterous!
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Why not give him the pre-made labels and the bottles separately? That way he could apply the labels after the brewing process.
No, the ink doesn't really come off the labels unless they are soaked in water for a while. No worries.
10/3/2004 -- I BOUGHT YOUR LABEL MAKING SOFTWARE AND IT WORKS GREAT, BUT YOU ONLY OFFER A FEW DIFFERENT STYLE LABELS THAT WORK WITH IT. WILL YOU BE GETTING ANY OTHER STYLES IN TO CHOOSE FROM?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Yes, we will be offering more in the future. In the meantime however, we can special order a particular label if you see one you like.
9/20/2004 -- Is there any way to see a sample of the colors that you have available? For instance, is the yellow light, bright, etc? Is the blue royal, navy, light, etc? Thanks!
Response From Homebrew Heaven: We'll try to put something on the web, but all the colors are "pastel", i.e. light colored.
5/14/2004 -- are these labeling sheets a solid 8.5x11 sheet, or is the sheet split into pre-cut labels?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: They are solid sheets, you can cut them any size that you like.
4/24/2004 -- Is your label making paper waterproof??
Response From Homebrew Heaven: I would call them water resisitant, but not waterproof.
4/19/2004 -- what finish-glossy or matte?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: They are all matte finish
3/14/2004 -- Will the label making paper adhere neatly over the label that is on the bottle or do you have to remove the label that comes with the bottle first.
Response From Homebrew Heaven: It is best to remove the old label.
12/27/2003 -- will this software work with digital cameras to produce you own layout as well as background?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Yes, it allows importing images from digital camerals. If you are placing text on top of (your own) digital image, however, you may have to run it thru the printer twice.
12/22/2003 -- Will the grunge remover remove glued on labels and glue from store bought wine bottles without using a razorblade or scraper?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Typically yes. It works best if you soak the bottles in hot water, and allowing them to soak at least 12 hours. Longer is better. There are a few persistant labels labels that don't come off, but usually they just slide right off. Often they will be floating on top of the water the next day.
12/2/2003 -- Do the labels come in 8 1/2 x 11 sheets with 4-6 labels to a sheet so they can easily be fed into a printer? Are they compatable to use with MS Word program or can they only be used with the software specified on your web site?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: These particular ones come four to a sheet (8 1/2 X 11") with each label measuring approx 3 1/2" X 4 3/4". Yes, they are easily printed with a common printer, and any word processing program, or graphic program will work with them. You may have to make a couple of "test prints" in order to have the text fall into the right spot, but that's easy.
11/26/2003 -- Do you have the label printing software available?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Yes, we do! Just $23.95
Here is a link to it:

10/13/2003 -- Can I get label making paper in white?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Yes, from time to time we run out, however. It is now a selectable option for this item.
10/1/2003 -- Does this software work with Windows XP?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Yes, it does. I have it on mine!
9/29/2003 -- Are these labels blank or do they have the image shown on the web site?
If they aren't blank, do you have blank labels so we can make our own graphics?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: They have the image of fruit and wine on them, but no text etc.
Yes, we have label making paper that is used to make your own labels, but they must be cut to size.
9/11/2003 -- Are the labels for wine and beer different sizes or the same? If they are different, where would I find label paper for wine?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: This product is full sheets of 8.5" X 11" label paper. You can print and cut the labels to whatever size you wish.
8/29/2003 -- Is the label water resistant? Will it come off if I keep my beer in a cooler with ice?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: I would call them resisitant, but not waterproof. They will likely come off if stored in a cooler. There is always a trade off...people usually WANT to be able to soak the labels off in preparation of their next beer.
7/8/2003 -- How many sheets of label paper? Is it dry gummed? Paper dimensions?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: There are 18 sheets of 8.5 X 11" paper. It has a dry gummed back.
7/8/2003 -- Is this paper "peel & stick" or does it have a 'moisten & stick" backing (like the old stamps).
Does this same paper come with the labeling software?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: It has a "moisten and stick" back (gummed).
No, you will need a graphics design software package to make your designs. Then print to these sheets.
6/27/2003 -- I NEED 100 OF THESE LABELS BUT THE WINE BOTTLES I HAVE ARE SMALL LIKE 21/2 BY 2 1/2 CAN U MAKES THIS SIZE. AND I ALSO NEED WRITING ON THEM
THANK YOU
Response From Homebrew Heaven: No, we don't make custom labels or sizes. YOU can, however, by using our Label Making Software and the Label Making Paper of your choice. Very easy to do on your computer.
6/3/2003 -- Will this (software) product work for producing beer labels? Also, will this program allow you to custom design a label by importing a picture into the program?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Yes, it works nicely for beer labels, as well as wine labels.
Yes, the program allows importing common picture formats like *.gif and *.bmp and *.jpg for use on your labels.
