Question
is this product good to use for bottling? will it add some flavor to the brew?

Response From Homebrew Heaven
I would NOT use for bottling, corn sugar or dry malt extract are better choices.

Brown sugar will produce larger bubbles when used for carbonating. Not generallly desirable. The small amount of flavor that brown sugar adds is very, very small.
It will also produce more sediment than corn sugar.

A small amount (less a pound)of brown sugar can be nice in the boil, however, particularly in some british brown ales. It doesn't add sweetness that way, but does add some flavor.
