1/20/2007 -- If you don't use all of the hops how, and for how long, can they be stored?

Response From Homebrew Heaven: If you seal them up well, and freeze them, they will stay aromatic for perhaps a year or more. They will still have the bittering properties, however. If they are left unsealed at room temperature they will degrade pretty quickly. In a month or two, say.
