1/24/2011 -- I am looking for a bottle to use as a wedding favor for my wedding. We make our own wine and I am trying to find a small plastic bottle with screw on lid. I see these bottles have a screw on cap but I am unable to tell if they are plastic. Please let me know if this is the bottle I want and/or if you sell a bottle I am looking for. Thank . . .
Response From Homebrew Heaven: These bottles are made of glass, and have plastic screw-on caps.
For favors, you probably want the smaller (375mL) bottles. They are also made of glass and have plastic screw on caps.
Here is a link to that product:

1/29/2010 -- Can I get a picture of these bottles ?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Photos have now been posted for that product.
3/15/2008 -- Your product description says: "Case of 12. Holds approx 1.2 gallons total. Comes with plastic screw-tops." Yet in the FAQ, you say they are metal. What are they really? What size cap are they, 28 mm? Thanks.
Response From Homebrew Heaven: These caps are actually plastic. Yes, they are 28 mm size.
1/26/2008 -- I live about an hour (if traffic is good) from the address on your website. Do you have an actual store or is everything here based solely online?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Yes, we have an actual brick-and-mortar store in Everett, WA. People actually walk in and buy stuff!
Our address is:

3/24/2006 -- Are the screw on caps reusable or should I use new ones each time?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: They are reusable. Just sanitize before is all.
4/27/2005 -- do you have 750 ml. bottles with screw on caps.$ thanks.
Response From Homebrew Heaven: We currently have 6 cases of clear screwtop bottles of that size. Sometimes we are able to get them, and other times not. If you (still) need them, I would give us a call, (800) 850-2739
2/6/2005 -- Can you store a screw top wine bottle on it's side the way you would a corked bottle? Also can you seal the screw cap some how to prevent air getting in to the bottle, such as applying a wax to the end?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Yes, they can be stored on their side if the cap is tight!
As long as the cap is tight, I see no need for wax, but yes, you could do that.
1/27/2005 -- Would you recommend these bottles for wine or do you think a corked bottle is better? Which one do you think keeps wine better?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: The wine industry has recognised for some time now that screw top bottles are just fine, and in fact can be better for the wine than corks. The public has a hard time accepting this, however, and still likes the look and feel of a corked wine. Ultimately, the choice is yours.
7/31/2004 -- Are the caps plastic or metal?
Response From Homebrew Heaven: They are metal screwtops
12/27/2003 -- There is no picture of this bottle. Could you tell me what it looks like? I would like to know what color and shape it is and if it comes with the screw caps.
Response From Homebrew Heaven: Like a standard wine bottle, only clear. They come with white screw-on caps.
